About an order

Amazon Owns the Whole Order

Payment, shipping, returns and refunds are all handled inside Amazon for anything bought there. Going through your Amazon account is quickest, since the receipt and tracking are already attached to the order. That covers:

  • Tracking a shipment or a late delivery
  • Refunds, returns and replacement tires
  • Card charges, billing and gift cards
  • Tires that showed up damaged
  • A wrong size or a short shipment
  • Warranty claims, repairs and complaints about a seller

We hold no inventory and process no payments, which means we cannot pull up your order, redirect a shipment or send money back. Amazon does all of that from the account you ordered under, normally while you are still on the page.

About the tire

Look in Two Places First

A tire tells you almost everything about itself on its own sidewall: full size, load index, load range and the DOT code that dates it. The sticker inside the driver-side door jamb tells you what Ford specified for the truck and at what cold pressure. Between those two surfaces, most F-150 fitment questions answer themselves in under a minute.

Not sure a 35 clears on a leveled truck? Any decent shop will crank the wheels to the stop and cycle the suspension for you, and they can mount and balance the set on the same lift. A Load Range E casing on a 20-inch wheel fights back hard enough that a proper machine earns its labor rate.

Mileage Warranties Come From the Maker

Whoever built the tire administers its treadwear program. Michelin, BFGoodrich, Goodyear, Continental, Falken, Toyo, Nitto, General Tire, Cooper and Mickey Thompson each set their own terms and process their own claims. Watch for the split between metric and LT versions of one model, because a claim gets settled against the specific size you had fitted and not against the name in the listing.

Collect this before you file:

  • ·Full size plus the DOT date code off the sidewall
  • ·Your receipt
  • ·Whatever rotation records exist
  • ·Tread depth measured at all four corners

Most programs weigh rotation history, alignment, inflation and the shape of the wear before paying anything out. Tires chewed up by a bad alignment or a dead shock usually fall outside coverage, which is another argument for fixing the cause early.
